Ignite Brisbane - A Global Ignite Week Event
Join us for Brisbane's First Ignite Event on the 4th of March 2010 to meet and hear from others in the industry including speakers from Business, Technical and Creative Industries
What is Ignite?
If you had five minutes on stage what would you say? What if you
only got 20 slides and they rotated automatically after 15 seconds?
Around the world geeks have been putting together Ignite nights to show
their answers.
Ignite was started in Seattle in 2006 by Brady Forrest and Bre
Pettis. Since then 100s of 5 minute talks have been given across the
world. There are thriving Ignite communities in Seattle, Portland,
Paris, and NYC.
A Global Ignite Week Event
Join us for the first Global Ignite Week, where Igniters around the
world (we're shooting for Ignites on all seven continents) have their
events Monday through Thursday, the first week of March, 2010. Maybe
we should worry about that much energy triggering spontaneous
combustion, but we think it's all for the good--sharing great ideas,
spending time with interesting people (in person and online), and, of
course, there's the beer.
